I love glass and learning to manipulate and control it. The possibilities are endless and the sense of illusion that can be created with various techniques is mesmerizing.

Shiny, shiny. That's what I love about glass and jewellery, all the shine.

I love jewelry because it makes one feel beautiful no matter what you are wearing in clothing or what is going on with your life...and I love glass jewelry because the material is sleek and smooth to the touch.

I love using artisan beads in my jewellery. A lampworker's one of a kind creation in turn becomes my one of kind final piece; a fusion of two pools of creativity.
Bliss! Jane

I am passionate about making jewellery using artisan lampwork beads because using them means that the wearer will have a truly bespoke piece and hopefully in turn I can help to spread the word about lampwork artists (it helps that I can make myself some goodies to wear too!).

I love the way it's impossible to feel glum when wearing lampwork glass jewellery or making it!The beads are always so beautiful I can't help but feel happy when I'm working with them or wearing them, they're little treasures, and each one is like a little world-perfect to lose yourself in!

What I love about glass: the colours and the sparkle and the endless possible combinations.

I am not
a/skinny,
b/ glamorous,
c/rich enough to wear really nice clothes.
But I can still have a little bit of glamour with one-off pieces of bespoke jewellery.

oh, and being able to say 'oh yes, I made the glass beads as well'...is quite the coolest thing in the universe!!!
